Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup quinoa
  • 2/3 cup diced apple, divided
  • 4 teaspoons sliced almonds
  • 3/4 cup low-fat milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Preparation

    Combine milk, 1/3 cup apple, quinoa, cinnamon and salt in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on very low heat until the liquid is absorbed, about 12 minutes.
