Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup
- 1/2 pound cooked turkey breast ; cubed
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Step 1
In small bowl, combine first seven ingredients (all the spices). Heat dry skillet over medium-high and pour spice mixture into hot skillet. Toast, stirring, for 20 seconds to release aromas. Remove from heat. - 2
Step 2
In medium bowl, mash avocado (should be about 1/2 cup). Add cranberries and maple syrup, and stir to combine. Add chicken, celery, walnuts, and 1/2 tablespoon of the spice mix. Stir gently until thoroughly combined. Store the remainder of the spice mix in a small zip-lock bag to use as an AIP substitute for curry powder. Bon appetit!
