Ingredients

  • 6 slices whole grain bread, I used a crusty artisan style bread
  • 6 tablespoons creamy almond butter
  • 3 fresh figs, sliced
  • 1/4 cup unsalted almonds, chopped
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Maple syrup for drizzling on top of the toast

    Toast the bread to desired doneness. Spread 1 tablespoon of almond butter onto each slice of bread. Top with the sliced figs, a sprinkle of cinnamon, chopped almonds and a drizzle of maple syrup.
