- 2 teaspoons canola oil or olive oil
- 1 teaspoon unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar

Heat oil and butter in a small nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add oats and stir to coat. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg; continue cooking and stirring until the oats are light golden brown, about 4 minutes. - 2
