Why it works
- Celiac disease: White beans make the mash, so no flour or thickeners are needed.
- Milk allergy: The mash is beans and olive oil, no butter or cream.
- Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Naturally gluten-free pork, vegetables and beans, nothing processed in the pan.
- Fish allergy: The glaze is honey and cider vinegar only, no fish-based seasoning.
- Soy allergy: Beans and olive oil build the mash, with no soy in the glaze or pan.
Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
