  • 2 tbsp, chopped fresh mint
  • 2 tbsp, chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 zested lemon
  • 1.5 tsp salt

Why it works

  • Autoimmune protocol (AIP): Herbed lamb bound with cassava flour over sweet potato mash — no grains, eggs, dairy, nuts or seed spices.
  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Seasoned only with garlic, ginger and fresh herbs — no soy, gluten or seaweed anywhere.
  • Pregnant: Ground lamb cooked fully through in the skillet, same plate as the family's.
  • Toddler (1–3): Soft mash and small halved meatballs made for little hands.
  • Kid (4–12): Mild, herby meatballs on creamy mash — easy to like and easy to eat.

AIP check: watch for nightshade spices (paprika, chili, cayenne), seed spices (cumin, coriander seed), seed oils and hidden sugar. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
