Why it works
- Autoimmune protocol (AIP): Browned pork with fruit-sweetened cabbage — no grains, dairy, eggs, nuts or seed spices, and olive oil in the pan.
- Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Everything is cooked from scratch here — no soy sauce, gluten or hidden ingredients in the pan.
- Pregnant: Nothing raw, unpasteurised or alcoholic; the pork is cooked through in the pan with the family's.
- Toddler (1–3): Sweet apples and soft-cooked cabbage cut small, with tender pork in thin pieces.
- Kid (4–12): Mild, sweet pan flavours with pork in strips for dipping into the juices.
AIP check: watch for nightshade spices (paprika, chili, cayenne), seed spices (cumin, coriander seed), seed oils and hidden sugar. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
