Why it works

  • Celiac disease: Potatoes and cauliflower do the filling, and the sauce is just herbs, garlic and vinegar.
  • Milk allergy: Everything is roasted in olive oil, no butter on the potatoes or steak.
  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Oregano, garlic and parsley bring the flavour, no soy or seaweed seasonings.
  • Fish allergy: Beef with a herb sauce, keeping anchovy-based condiments off the plate.
  • Soy allergy: The sauce is olive oil, vinegar and herbs, nothing fermented or soy-based.

Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
