Kids’ plate: Naan dippers
On the plate: A naan cut into strips with a little bowl of plain yogurt for dipping, cilantro left off.
Make it a game: Dip the naan boats in the yogurt sea — can each one take a dive before the first bite?
Set it aside at step 6, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.
Why it works
- Celiac disease: Gluten-free flour blend makes the dough, with yogurt and milk for softness and no hidden gluten anywhere.
- Kid (4–12): Mild, plain and made for dipping — soft naan strips with a cool yogurt bowl.
Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
