Kids’ plate: Butter chicken night

On the plate: Plain chicken pieces, buttery rice and a spoon of creamy sauce for dipping.

Make it a game: Build a little rice mountain and tuck the chicken pieces into caves.

Set it aside at step 3, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.

Why it works

  • Celiac disease: Naturally gluten-free: chicken, yogurt, tomato, cream and rice, with no sauces or stocks hiding wheat.
  • Kid (4–12): Warm spices but no chili heat, and the kids' share stays plain for dipping.

Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
