Kids’ plate: Fish Fingers and Cloud Potatoes
On the plate: Crispy fish fingers, a crispy smashed potato and buttered peas.
Make it a game: Dip the fish fingers in little lemon puddles and count the peas riding on the fork.
Set it aside at step 3, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.
Why it works
- Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Fresh fish roasted with lemon and herbs; no soy or fermented seasonings.
- Gluten-free: A parmesan crust stands in for breadcrumbs, so no wheat in sight.
- Kid (4–12): Crispy dippable fish fingers and fluffy potatoes, flavours kept gentle.
- Toddler (1–3): Fish flakes into soft pieces and the potatoes mash down easily.
