An alpha-gal meal plan without mammal meat
Alpha-gal syndrome is an allergy to a sugar in mammal meat and the products made from it. These dinners use chicken, turkey, fish and plants instead, with no gelatin, lard or beef stock. Some people react to dairy too; mark it in the app and Gluten keeps it off your plate.

Alpha-gal dinners are on their way
We’re still adding alpha-gal recipes to the site. In the app, Gluten plans all seven nights around your household.
What Gluten watches for: beef, pork, lamb, venison, gelatin, lard, beef stock and, for some people, dairy.
One dinner for everyone at the table
Add who’s at your table
Each person’s conditions, allergies, diets and age, once.
Get a week of dinners
Gluten checks every dinner, ingredient by ingredient, against everyone you added.
A swap where someone needs one
You have alpha-gal and the kids love burgers: turkey burgers for everyone, with cheese for the people who eat dairy.
Make this fit your whole family
Add who’s at your table, with their conditions, allergies and ages. Gluten checks every recipe for each of them and adds a swap where someone needs one. 7 days free, then $49.99 a year.
Alpha-gal meal plan questions
What can you eat with alpha-gal?
Poultry, fish, seafood, eggs, vegetables, grains, beans and fruit. Leave out beef, pork, lamb, venison and goat, and the gelatin, lard and stock made from them. Some people also react to dairy.
Are chicken and turkey safe with alpha-gal?
Yes. Birds and fish don’t carry alpha-gal. Check sausages and deli meat, which can have pork casings or mixed meat.
Where does alpha-gal come from?
In the US it’s mostly linked to lone star tick bites. An allergist can diagnose it; this plan is for dinners, not medical advice.
How much does Gluten cost?
7 days free, then $49.99 a year for the whole household, on iPhone, Android and the web. Cancel during the free week and you pay nothing.
Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice. Recipes are checked against the restrictions you enter, but always check labels for allergens and cross-contact, and talk to your doctor or dietitian about your diet.
