Why it works

  • Autoimmune protocol (AIP): Shrimp and roasted vegetables with lemon and herbs — olive oil only, no seed spices, grains or dairy.
  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Simple sheet-pan cooking with plain whole ingredients — nothing fermented, soy-based or processed.
  • Pregnant: Shrimp is a naturally low-mercury choice, roasted through in the oven with the family's.
  • Toddler (1–3): Sweet roasted carrot sticks and mild shrimp cut into small soft pieces.
  • Kid (4–12): Shrimp and carrot sticks are fun to pick up, with gentle lemon-herb seasoning.

AIP check: watch for nightshade spices (paprika, chili, cayenne), seed spices (cumin, coriander seed), seed oils and hidden sugar. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
