Why it works
- Type 2 diabetes: Chicken and avocado with crisp carrots—no sugar, and the crunch keeps it satisfying.
- Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Soy-free and grain-free: the crust is pure coconut flour.
- Autoimmune protocol (AIP): Coconut flour crust with oregano and lime—everything the elimination phase welcomes.
- Celiac disease: Coconut flour, not breadcrumbs, so there is no gluten in the crunch.
- Milk allergy: The dip is avocado and lime—no milk, butter or yogurt.
- Wheat allergy: No wheat flour or breadcrumbs in the coating at all.
- Egg allergy: The coating sticks with coconut flour alone—no egg wash.
- Gluten-free: The crunchy crust is coconut flour, a naturally gluten-free pantry staple.
- Anti-inflammatory: Olive oil, avocado and raw carrot, with the chicken pan-fried not deep-fried.
- Paleo: Chicken, coconut, avocado and carrots—a fully paleo take on nuggets.
- Egg-free: No eggs needed: coconut flour makes the crust cling.
- Dairy-free: Creaminess comes from mashed avocado instead of dairy.
- No spicy food: Oregano and lime carry the flavour—no chili or hot spice anywhere.
Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
