Why it works

  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Naturally gluten-free with no soy anywhere: salmon, brown rice and roasted broccoli with lemon and dill.
  • Celiac disease: Every ingredient here is gluten-free as written: plain salmon, rice, broccoli, olive oil and fresh herbs.
  • Type 2 diabetes: Brown rice brings the fibre and the salmon brings the protein, with plenty of green on the plate.
  • Wheat allergy: No wheat, flour or breadcrumbs in the pan: the salmon roasts plain with olive oil, lemon and dill.
  • Gluten-free: Nothing here needs a gluten-free label check: whole foods only, seasoned with herbs and citrus.
  • Kid (4–12): Mild roasted salmon and broccoli with lemon, rice to build a little bowl from.
