Kids’ plate: Crispy chicken strips

On the plate: Plain crispy chicken strips cut into pieces, green beans, a lemony dip on the side.

Make it a game: Dunk a chicken strip like a diving submarine — splashdown when it hits the sauce.

Set it aside at step 3, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.

Why it works

  • Celiac disease: Gluten-free breadcrumbs, flour blend and marinara keep the crunchy crust the same as the classic.
  • Kid (4–12): Plain crispy strips with a dip to dunk, mild beans on the side.

Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
