Why it works

  • Type 2 diabetes: Fish and greens carry the plate, with roasted parsnip as the veg carb.
  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Fresh trout, spinach and dill with olive oil, no soy or seaweed.
  • Autoimmune protocol (AIP): Fish, parsnips and spinach with olive oil and dill, nothing off-list.
  • Celiac disease: Bare fillet and roasted roots, no sauces or grain products.
  • Acid reflux (GERD): Seared fish and roasted parsnips, seasoned with dill instead of citrus or spice.
  • IBS: Trout, spinach and parsnip sit comfortably in a gentle, simple plate.
  • Milk allergy: The fish crisps in olive oil, no butter basting here.
  • Wheat allergy: Naked seared fillets with no flour, breading or crust.
  • Egg allergy: Skin-on fillets seared in oil only, no egg coating.
  • Gluten-free: Fish, parsnips, spinach and dill, with no hidden gluten to check.
  • Anti-inflammatory: Oily fish seared in olive oil with spinach and roasted roots.
  • Paleo: Fish, root vegetables and greens with olive oil and fresh dill.
  • Egg-free: A flourless, egg-free sear on the fish, crisp from the skin itself.
  • Dairy-free: Dill and olive oil finish the fish, no cream or butter.
  • No spicy food: Dill and salt do the seasoning, gentle all the way.

Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
