Why it works
- Type 2 diabetes: Beef and greens first, sweet potato in a modest scoop alongside.
- Hashimoto's thyroiditis: No soy or hidden gluten—the patties are seasoned with oregano and salt.
- Autoimmune protocol (AIP): Beef, sweet potato and greens with herb seasoning only—no spices, eggs or fillers.
- Celiac disease: The patties hold together on their own, no breadcrumbs or flour.
- Milk allergy: The mash is bound with olive oil—no butter or milk.
- Wheat allergy: Burger night with no bun: crisp lettuce does the wrapping.
- Egg allergy: The patties bind from mixing and pan-searing, no egg needed.
- Gluten-free: Naturally bun-free—lettuce wraps instead of bread.
- Anti-inflammatory: Lean beef, sweet potato and arugula seared in olive oil, not deep-fried.
- Paleo: A classic paleo burger plate: lettuce wrap, mash and greens.
- Egg-free: Just beef, herbs and oil in the patties—nothing binding but the sear.
- Dairy-free: Sweet potato mash made silky with olive oil, no butter.
- No spicy food: Oregano and salt season the beef—nothing hot on the table.
Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
