Kids’ plate: Dino nuggets
On the plate: Plain dino nuggets, broccoli trees and pear wedges.
Make it a game: Broccoli trees grow in a pear-wedge valley — stomp a dinosaur nugget through before you gobble the forest.
Set it aside at step 5, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.
Why it works
- Autoimmune protocol (AIP): No grains, dairy, eggs or nightshades: tapioca flour makes the crispy coating.
- Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Gluten-free and soy-free: oregano and olive oil do all the seasoning.
- Pregnant: Chicken roasted through in the oven, with no raw egg in the coating.
- Toddler (1–3): Soft pear wedges and small nuggets to grab, avocado sliced thin.
- Kid (4–12): Crispy nuggets shaped like dinosaurs with broccoli trees and sweet pear on the side.
AIP check: watch for nightshade spices (paprika, chili, cayenne), seed spices (cumin, coriander seed), seed oils and hidden sugar. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
