Kids’ plate: Sweet Potato Shepherd’s Pie
On the plate: A small portion of lamb and soft vegetables under sweet potato mash, served in easy-to-scoop pieces.
Make it a game: The golden mash is a little blanket over the lamb and vegetables. Find a soft carrot or pea hiding underneath at your own pace.
Set it aside at step 5, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.
Why it works
- Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Lamb, vegetables, thyme and olive oil, with no soy, seaweed or gluten-containing grains.
