Kids’ plate: Fish & Golden Potato Coins
On the plate: Plain crispy trout pieces, golden potato coins and soft spinach, with a lemon wedge on the side.
Make it a game: Stack the potato coins into a golden tower, then a lemon squeeze makes them sparkle.
Set it aside at step 4, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.
Why it works
- Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Naturally gluten-free trout with potatoes and spinach, no soy or seaweed anywhere.
- Gluten-free: Everything is cooked from scratch: fish, potatoes, spinach and a butter sauce with no flour or stock.
- Kid (4–12): Mild fish and crispy potato coins to pick up, with the lemon kept as a dip.
- Toddler (1–3): Soft flaked fish, potato coins and gentle spinach in easy little pieces.
Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
