Kids’ plate: Buttery gnocchi bites

On the plate: Soft gnocchi with a little melted butter for dipping, no sage.

Make it a game: Pretend each gnocchi is a little boat paddling into the butter dip harbour.

Set it aside at step 5, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.

Why it works

  • Celiac disease: Gnocchi made from scratch with potato and a gluten-free flour blend, so nothing hidden.
  • Kid (4–12): Soft gnocchi and a plain butter dip, mild and fun to pick up.

Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
