Kids’ plate: Greek Lamb Meatballs

On the plate: Small lamb meatballs with cucumber yogurt salad and lemon on the side.

Make it a game: Give the meatballs a cucumber salad pond to sit beside. You can choose a little lemon squeeze or none.

Set it aside at step 4, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.

Why it works

  • Celiac disease: The lamb is bound with grated zucchini, not breadcrumbs, and the salad has no wheat-based ingredients.
  • Kid (4–12): Mild lamb meatballs and cool cucumber-yogurt salad keep the flavors familiar.
