Why it works

  • Celiac disease: Potatoes, pork and green beans straight from the pan: nothing here needs a flour, sauce or stock.
  • Milk allergy: Olive oil and lemon do the finishing instead of any butter or cream.
  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis: A simple rosemary, garlic and lemon seasoning with no soy in sight.
  • Fish allergy: Pork is the only protein; no fish sauce or seafood hides in the seasoning.
  • Soy allergy: Seasoning is herbs, garlic and lemon, with no soy sauce or substitutes.

Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
