Why it works

  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Seasoned with thyme, chives and salt — no soy or seaweed anywhere.
  • Celiac disease: A grain-free plate: turkey patties, mash and beans, no flour or breadcrumbs.
  • IBS: Garlic-infused oil gives flavor without garlic pieces; parsnips and green beans keep it easy going.
  • Milk allergy: Olive oil makes the mash creamy — no milk, butter or cheese.
  • Wheat allergy: No wheat anywhere: the patties hold together on their own.
  • Egg allergy: The patties bind with nothing but turkey and herbs — no eggs.
  • Gluten-free: Naturally gluten-free plate: meat, vegetables, herbs and olive oil.
  • Anti-inflammatory: Lean turkey, green vegetables and olive oil, cooked gently.
  • Egg-free: Egg-free as written; the mash is bound by the parsnips themselves.
  • Dairy-free: Garlic-infused olive oil stands in for butter in the mash.
  • No spicy food: Herbs only — thyme and chives, no pepper or heat.
