Kids’ plate: Salmon Superhero Boats

On the plate: A plain salmon piece (bones picked out), fluffy rice and soft broccoli florets, no glaze.

Make it a game: The broccoli becomes little trees and the salmon is a boat — can a tree climb aboard the boat?

Set it aside at step 5, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.

Why it works

  • Celiac disease: Naturally gluten-free salmon, rice and broccoli, with tamari rather than regular soy sauce.
  • Toddler (1–3): Flaky salmon, soft rice and tender broccoli trees, seasoned simply before the glaze goes on.
