Make it a game: Find the hidden sweet potato shapes on your plate.
Set it aside at step 5, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.
Why it works
- Gluten-free: The sauce relies on gluten-free tamari for flavor depth and body.
- Kid (4–12): The chicken is served in small, easy-to-hold pieces with mild, fruity sweet potato.
- Toddler (1–3): The chicken is chopped into bite-sized strips, and sweet potatoes are mashed to a soft texture.
