Kids’ plate: Chicken and Sweet Potato Sticks
On the plate: Plain sliced chicken strips and sweet potato cubes, with soft zucchini pieces on the side.
Make it a game: Find all the colors of the rainbow on your plate—orange, green, and brown!
Set it aside at step 3, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.
Why it works
- Autoimmune protocol (AIP): The dish uses safe whole foods like chicken, sweet potato, and zucchini, seasoned with herbs, garlic, and safe oils.
AIP check: watch for nightshade spices (paprika, chili, cayenne), seed spices (cumin, coriander seed), seed oils and hidden sugar. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
