Kids’ plate: Egg Drop Soup

On the plate: A small bowl of egg ribbons in ginger broth, with the green onion pieces left out.

Make it a game: The egg ribbons are little golden clouds. Find one floating in each spoonful at your own pace.

Set it aside at step 3, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.

Why it works

  • Gluten-free: Gluten-free broth and tamari keep the soup free of wheat, barley and rye.
  • Anti-inflammatory: Eggs, ginger and green onions bring flavour without added sugar or refined starch.
  • Kid (4–12): Mild ginger broth and soft egg ribbons make an easy-to-scoop bowl.
  • Toddler (1–3): Soft egg ribbons in broth make a gentle spoonable bowl.
