Kids’ plate: Buttery noodle bowls

On the plate: Plain buttery noodles with a little grated parmesan on top.

Make it a game: Twirl the noodles around the fork to make a big spaghetti ball before the bite.

Set it aside at step 2, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.

Why it works

  • Celiac disease: Gluten-free fettuccine cooks right alongside everything else; no flour in the pan.
  • Kid (4–12): Mild, buttery noodles that twirl on a fork, with parmesan on top.

Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
