Kids’ plate: Orange chicken bites
On the plate: Plain crispy chicken bites, rice and soft broccoli florets, sauce on the side for dipping.
Make it a game: Dip each chicken bite in the orange sauce and count the orange suns on the plate.
Set it aside at step 4, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.
Why it works
- Celiac disease: The sauce is built on gluten-free tamari with cornstarch, orange juice and honey — no wheat anywhere.
- Kid (4–12): Mild, sweet-orange chicken bites with rice and soft broccoli, sauce served as a dip.
Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
