Kids’ plate: Noodle twirl bowls
On the plate: Chicken strips, rice noodles and soft egg, with lime on the side for squeezing.
Make it a game: Show how to twirl noodles around the fork like spaghetti, one big twirl at a time.
Set it aside at step 4, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.
Why it works
- Celiac disease: Rice noodles and gluten-free tamari carry all the flavour, so nothing here hides any wheat.
Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
