Kids’ plate: Chicken & Veggie Medley

On the plate: Plain chicken strips and diced zucchini, pieces of bell pepper set aside, lemon juice avoided

Why it works

  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis: The meal relies on chicken, fresh vegetables, and olive oil for flavor without soy or seaweed.
  • Gluten-free: No grains or flour are used, keeping the meal entirely gluten-free.
  • Anti-inflammatory: Olive oil and fresh herbs are the main flavor agents used to keep refined starches and processed ingredients out.
  • Kid (4–12): Simple, familiar protein and soft vegetables served in bite-sized portions.
  • Toddler (1–3): Chicken strips and soft roasted vegetables are easy to pick up and eat.
