Kids’ plate: Sword Kebabs with Sweet Potato Fries

On the plate: Plain pork pieces off the skewer, soft sweet potato wedges and zucchini coins.

Make it a game: Slide the meat off the sword one piece at a time — every piece you rescue is a treasure.

Set it aside at step 5, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.

Why it works

  • Hashimoto's thyroiditis: Pork, sweet potato and rosemary with olive oil and lemon — no soy in the marinade.
  • Gluten-free: Everything here is naturally gluten-free: meat, vegetables, herbs and olive oil.
  • Anti-inflammatory: Lean pork and sweet potato roasted in olive oil with rosemary, garlic and lemon.
  • Kid (4–12): Meat on a sword, then off it — familiar roasted flavors with mild, soft vegetables.
  • Toddler (1–3): Soft sweet potato wedges and small thin pork pieces to pick up one at a time.
