Kids’ plate: Crunchy pork roll-ups

On the plate: Two plain baked pork and cabbage rolls, no dipping sauce, and a little bowl of extra plain pork filling.

Make it a game: Unroll one to peek at the pork-and-veg treasure hidden inside.

Set it aside at step 4, before the grown-ups’ sauce or spice goes on.

Why it works

  • Celiac disease: Tamari and wrappers are gluten-free, so every roll and the dip are safe for you.
  • Kid (4–12): Plain, mild pork rolls to pick up and eat with fingers, sauce kept off.

Celiac check: watch for hidden gluten in soy sauce, stock, malt vinegar and seasoning blends, and oats that aren’t certified. Gluten gives food ideas, not medical advice: always check labels for allergens and cross-contact.
